About our gym
OBX Soundside MMA is a gym featuring kids and adults Jiujitsu, Kickboxing, MMA, Judo, and other fitness classes based out of Nags Head, NC. Its owners David and Laura Henry took a leap of faith and moved to the area in 2024 with 3 of their kids and 2 dogs. They opened the school in October 2024 with the idea of brining all of the best parts they had experienced at previous gyms and combining it in one space where everyone feels welcome, wanted, and free to embrace their journey how ever it may present.
